rich is as good as randy, if you put those 2 in identical cars without the help of randy's little secrets, i am willing to bet that rich can out drive
randy. i don't know if you guys have noticed, but rich michaels can wheel a car, the guy has balls, he couldn't buy his way into the sport like randy.
and as for racechic, i like that girl, she tells it how it is, yall just don't like to hear the truth.

I think they both can drive, both had there bad moments, it was just that he didn't want to get passed. Wheel hops can happen if he was passing or getting passed, can't really say who did what, other than they must have seen something on tape to make them do what they did. I'm sure if you talk to either driver they're over it...so get over it already!!! |

the whole deal should of been handled as any red or yellow flag and the last 4 0r 5 laps should of been completed. the 6 cars that were not in the crash should
of had a chance to finish. if not the rule if you get stopped because of a wreck you go to the rear. way to much shooting from the hip on this one.randy and
rich are good, but there not the only ones out there. IMO

Any of you Fans/Drivers at MCR Ever Happy? $!#@% about rain, Called to early, Complain if they try to run in the track and wait to the last minute to decide
weather to race or not, Complain about the officials decisions, Complain about, Super lates vs Crate Lates, any of you notice the economy, be glad you have
lates at all. $!#@% about the guys you race with. ( Its racing, cars bump, guys loose their tempers and rub someone or cut them off when they shouldn't,
Cars get bent, feelings get hurt, it is just a part of racing, deal with it.. ) Those guys bust their butts trying to have a good track for you to race at,
They sure as hell must love the sport because i am pretty sure they are not making any money. How many of you would put up with all this aggravation, Would not
be surprised if Ken, Tom and Rich finish out the year and say to hell with it. Wish my Day Job had more flexible hours so i could make the trip down and
support those guys. Remember the saying, "you don't know what you got till its gone"
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting '...holy sh*t ...what a ride.....!!!!!"

i was not there and i did not see the wreck, in rich michaels defense i have seen randy do what ever it takes to win a feature, however in randy halls defense
rich michael is indeed fast however he is a bit of a weapon, and i disagree that he is as good as randy hall, randy did not buy his way into anything and his
resume could not be purchased for any amount of money, his accomplishments were earned with raw talent and skill, behind the wheel as well as in the garage
MCR your call to dock randy hall two positions for jumping a restart AFTER ANOTHER CAUTION had already occurred is absolutely ludicrous, when a driver jumps the start he is penalized at the next caution or at the end of the event, which ever comes FIRST !! i am astounded as well as somewhat bewildered that this call was even made, its crazy... had there not been another caution in between that restart and the conclusion of the event then perhaps that would have been the right call, however that was not the case and the opportunity for the penalty we missed, there are no second chances, this is not football, we do not "review the tape" and as far as ending the race, that was very unfair to the drivers that were able to avoid the wreck....after all this is racing and as we all know, $H!T happens, its not like your playing uno with a bunch of 8 year olds, there is no sympathy, no holding back.... its racing and what happens on the track is what decides the outcome of the event, it does not matter if there are 2 cars or 20 cars in a crash, everyone there paid their money, busted their ass to get their program ready to race at your race track to support you, how do you think the guy that would have come out of that mess with lead feels ? i personally would feel like i got screwed out of a feature, bottom line is this when there is a wreck you send the crew out, clean up the mess, pull tin, get whoever can continue back on the track, get the guys that cannot continue off the track and finish the damn race... where exactly does this end ? are you going to start flagging races every time they have a caution ? next time someone is leading and gets tangled they can jump out of the car on the front stretch and say its not fair, you should end the race and give them the win cause they were leading when they got wrecked ? or does this run deeper ? does the "since there was a wreck we will give the win to this guy" theory only apply to certain drivers ? is this racing or WWE ?

i totally agree with bush. why were the cars that avoided the wreck not able to continue the race? and in most feature races cars with just flat tires or some
bent panels are allowed to go back to the pits and straighten the situation out and come back on the track. the race could have continued with at least 6-10
cars from what i've read and seen. instead, positions have been GIVEN to people who maybe didn't deserve them. i was not there, and i don't even
race an e-mod. it was a red flag incident and at most tracks red flags don't count against time limits if they have one there. i feel for the guys that
could have continued that weren't given the opportunity. i have started plenty of 24 or so car races that have ended with only 10 cars on the track because
of multiple wrecks or large wrecks. the cars that continue usually arent penalized. you can pass a lot of cars in 4 laps!
due to my lack of experience and driving ability i have been involved in many wrecks in my day; some in the front of the pack, some at the back. however, i would feel awful if my inexperience and lack of ability ever took away from another driver having a chance. these are two seasoned drivers, who are very competitive and i am sure they feel the same way. it is hard to make the right call in the heat of the moment, but as a driver i would be very, very upset if i was able to continue and wasn't allowed. |

Adding insult to injury, That's what MCR did to Rich M., when they DQed him. Low blow don't you think????

Now that that is over-- I havn't got a nickel invested but-
Tough decision for the officials- but-- The race should have been finished- 5 laps or what ever-- wouldn't have hurt the curfew..besides , they raced other classes after the wreck- If a racer was able to continue, the only fair way was to restart it and complete it. If a racer missed the wreck or could fix the car before the restart, they should have had the chance to better their position and payoff.. line up the restart best you can and get her done-- thats how racing works -like it or not- |

one question i have is who was where when this all happened was randy up top or down low. cuz from what i am reading on here is that randy was high and
michaels slid up into randy or what happened cuz i have watched randy for the last couple of years and is a very clean racer to me. i know michaels hates to
get passed apparently cuz jason genco knows all about it at stateline a few weeks back. i just was wondering how this all started on the track.

What's the point in complaining about it now. It's done and over with, the MCR guys made their decisions based on tapes they watched and what not, so
why waste the breath complaining about it now? It all seems a bit pointless to me.

Decisions like this from MCR mgmt. is the exact reason that there is talk every year about MCR closing its doors. Bad decisions come back to haunt you in the
end. Trying to please one "golden child" team whoever that may be in whatever class ends up making 2 dozen other teams in the class unhappy and
possibly unlikely to return. Track promotors needs to drive past the end of their hoods just like drivers but they prefer to get the spot (or the sponsor $$$)
instead of winning the race (staying in business.)

That decision had nothing to do with trying to please the "Golden Child"! Are you people really that stupid? I tend to give you the benefit of a
doubt but now I have had it...you people that think Randy is catered to at MCR are idiots...plain and simple. Stupid Idiots!

i do not think they were catering to randy, they panelized him for jumping a restart that they had no right to penalize him for

What most of you don't seem to realize is that there was a 30 minute time limit on the 3-mod feature, plus the fact they have a curfew (which most of you
DO know). Add to that how shaken up all the drivers were from the accident, there was no way to restart that race. Any of you with a brain should know that
the promotors at MCR are as fair as they come, and they made their decision fair and square based on the tape and interviews. It's done and over with,
thank God no one was seriously injured, so GET OVER IT and let's move on. Enough said!!!!
