One of the longest nights of racing ever!!!! More caution laps in the SUPER late feature than 30 green laps!!!

not just in lm's but just about everything........ you would have thought all classes were running for 1 million bucks........my god, and how many guys
have the new concrete chassis. they hit everyone, and everything, keep going, and going... but you get in one little wreck and everythings bent, and frame torn
off......... not even a half a lap...... why?

02 of Dave Ferringer wins it. Wire to wire.
Ken Zimmer finishes 2nd on Ferringers' bumper. Another lap or two would have been interesting. Zimmer looked faster than the leader at the end. Ferringer was pressured the whole race. Buckly ran 2nd for quite a while before falling back a few spots. He got under Ferringer a few times but did not have quite enough to get by. |

I left the track at 2:40 with 3-4 laps left of stock feature and e-mods were next....5 classes ran features with 1 crack-the-whip mini stock and it took 7
hours to run 4 of them?? I understand there were B-mains and C-mains but c'mon....Not really trying to "bash" the track but.......

A lot of poor driving in all divisions except the stocks, they put on the best show especially the heats.
I actually thought the Fastrack feature was interesting to watch, minus the cautions. Watching Dandy, Barton and Lacki battle to the front was fun. Have to really work hard to set a guy up to get around him. Too bad for Bobby Powell, looked fast. Why couldn't they do all the weighing and inspection off the racing surface in the infield so the next race could start?

I remember when Raceway 7 took forever to line up cars after a caution. Then they got the transponders and everyone thought that would help but it didnt. Then
you thought it was because they were still learing with them what ever. I feel I go to enough races to see different ways things work and STILL,,,,,,,,,,, R7
is the SLOWEST when it comes to restarting after a caution. Then throw in countless cautions like last night and bingo, you have a marathon!!!

was wondering if they'll pay tow money to the ones that couldn't make it back from the past years since they kept getting rained out, but I'll bet
its my lose for not coming back, just wondering if anybody heard anything. |

From what I understand, tow money was only paid for the cars that were there last night.

yeah i hear that, i towed up, ran my heat, made the feature... rained, was told we were re running the whole show, that i had to requalify for a feature that i
had already made, ok whatever... towed up again only to get rained out a second time, now i dont have a race car due to crappy circumstances that are beyond my
control..... christ i think they owe me more than tow money, i started 13th in race that i believe was $100 to start (maybe more, it was 200 to start the year
before)
