Not sure what you are paying in your area, but regular is $4.23 at most locations in the Jamestown Area, 8 miles south in Sugar Grove, The Kwik fill is $3.97,
cash or $3.92 Kwik fill credit card, Worth the trip if your filling up. The New York State Tax Man can Kiss my Butt, Greedy Bas#@$d&*

Lets see here
$4.23 - $3.92 = 0.31 difference 16 gallon tank x 0.31 = $4.96 savings 9.7 miles from jamestown to sugargrove round trip = 19.4 miles 12 miles per gallon ( ford truck) = 1.616 gallons 1.616 gallons @ $4.23 = $6.84 cost to drive to sugar grove to save $4.96 Where were those savings again?? |

That price would be difficult to swallow. But just a thought, its 15 miles to Sugar Grove from Jamestown. Thats 30 round trip. Average automobiles gets 20 mpg.
That's 1.5 gallons. If you fill an average tank of 20 gallons and save .25 a gallon, that'd be $5.00. Gas at $4.00 a gallon would cost you $6.00 to get
to and from the Grove. If you were passing through, had a large tank, or got better than 20 mpg, it may be worth it. Depends on what price you put on your
time. Just a thought.
And in my opinion, if your going to fill up in Sugar Grove, support your home town, self owned gas station. Schuyler's Citgo beside the bank is a dirt track supporter and proud sponser of the Chub Frank 1* race team! Take care! |

2003 G20 Van, 35 gallon tank, took 31.4 to fill it, Cost 123.35 to fill it, at $4.23 it would have cost $132.82, was on lawson road anyway, saved $9.47, My car
gets 31.5 mpg, Fill it when i am down that way, and besides, it feels good cheating the new york tax man out of anything i can ( he gets enough of my money
already ) While i was there, picked up 4 packs of smokes, saved another $4.40 and 2 - 12 packs of Dew for $5.98, - $1.20 DEPOSIT i get on the cans in NY,
That you do not pay in PA. PA and NY Pepsi cans and bottles are marked the same. So from my calculations i will get into the races for free Sat night and will
have some cold dew instead of that dam Coca Cola LOL Note to 20TRACER - 12 miles per gallon ( ford truck) = 1.616 gallons - SEE THE PROBLEM YOU HAVE
ALREADY- ITS SPELLED FORD, that Full Size 3/4 ton G20 CHEVY Van is all wheel drive and does 18 around town, 21 highway, you need a good Chevy!!!

A little math fun... | ||

Then there are those of us trying to race. Racing fuel, 7.50 a gallon. Average 8 gallons a night. ($60) Hauler to get to track towing = 6.8 mpg, Diesel
$4.89 a gallon (more if in PA), tank size 133 gallons. Do the math. lol Never mind you are better off not looking. haha
NOW LETs PUT THAT ALL IN PERSPECTIVE: Bottled water out of vending machine $1.25 for 17 0z. (average size) at a gallon (128 oz) that would be roughly 7.5 bottles of water. Which comes out to be $9.38 a gallon for bottled water out of the vending machines. AND I SEE PEOPLE BUYING THIS EVERY DANG DAY!!! Course its cheaper by the case, but still more expensive than gasoline. And those same people complain about gas prices. Hmmm. I wonder what that faucet in the kitchen is for??? Disclaimer, I too, am upset with fuel prices, but I am unable to change it, so it is, what it is.

$4.30 here in the sunny Pacific NW. The local station has a daily drawing for winning your all or some money back. You fill out a slip with the amount paid and
method used to pay. They call you at 6 p.m sharp. If you paid cash you get 100% vs. if you paid by credit card you get 75% back. It's not a corporate
station, so for them to give back get's them a lot of business. My truck is good on long runs but horrible on the short ones and hard to part with the 90
bucks to fill it. I had to break out my bicycle since work is only 2 miles from home.
Chevy, I did venture from Jamestown to The Grove a couple of weeks ago to take advantage of the big price difference. Had money left over to stop at the Bucket for a couple of wobbly pops....lol. DT |

Its been 3.99 for a month straight at most local stations, except walmart wich differs daily between 3.89 and 3.98 for some reason.
Its funny i can fill a 12,000 gallon pool for less then filling a 30 gallon gas tank!! Im glad we dont have to drill for water! But if you have a well..... |
