Seems with all the accidents & low car counts what would you do to make it safer & bring in cars. My thought would be to shorten it & add some
banking. The place is hard on motors & you can't see to good now.
What would you change if any (Result) |

leave it the wat it is, thats what is so fun about it, why change it now, if your blowing motors maybe people should make a gear change.

probably cant do anything with the track because probably some stipulations with fairgrounds. banking would be nice. gear change is right, its not the only 1/2
mile track in the world so they race them all over but banking would be great.

I wish it was smaller so you could see better, tuff track to watch racing unless your way up in the bleachers.

That place is too dangerous, it needs to be shortened!

Leave it the way it is. If you want a shorter track, then go to a shorter track. It is nice to have a variety. Last race had a lot of side by side latemodel
racing in the feature and more banking would just make it faster.

I AGREE, LEAVE IT AS IS FOR VARIETY REASONS, BUT BECAUSE OF THE BLEACHERS OFF CENTER, THE VIEW IS POOR FOR THE WHHOLE TRACK. THEN WHEN YOU ONLY PUT 6 CARS OUT
THERE PER HEAT AND THEY GET STRUNG OUT, ITS LIKE A ROAD COURSE RACE. NOT SAYING IT SHOULD BE LIKE DAYTONA/TALLADEGA, BUT GLORIFIED GROUP HOT LAPS STINK!!!

As someone who works on the car, I liked the 6/7 car heats. It let's us go out and run with less chance of getting into someone else's mis-fortune.
Any way you slice it, most of the cars were going into the redraw and heats do not count for points so all that really mattered was to get the spots you needed
for the redraw and then keep the car in 1 piece.

From this fans perspective, the best tracks for entertaining racing are high bank 1/4 or 1/3 bullrings. JMO
Check out Tyler County, Midway or East Bay sometime, you'll never want a half mile track with 6 car heats and 15 car features again. |

I've been searching for the perfect racetrack for over 40 years. Haven't found it yet. Found some close, but can always find something I don't
like. Married my wife 45 years ago, and there are a few things not perfect, but now that she is battling cancer, the thought of her not being here at all makes
me forget about the small imperfections. There are a fine group of people at Little Valley who give up a lot of their time to keep racing alive in their area.
Is it perfect? No. Will it ever be? No. It's better than NONE at all. These people don't deserve the beating from a few who don't donate their time
and effort to help make it better. I applaud them for their effort and hope they don't get discouraged and quit. Thanks - Rick Peterman

It isnt as easy as changing gear. If you change a gear, the way the place is you will be bogging coming out of the corners because you would be running such a
low rpm. The track is basically two drag strips with a hairpin corner. Its a nice track and its fun to watch, but I think adding some banking would improve
racing tenfold.

Bedford Speedway is a BIG track.. I have video of that track from the early 90s when it was flat as L. Valley or flatter. Some good racing .. high speeds and
some wicked crashes. Unfortuantely wicked crashes is whats going to happen on a big fast race track. I think adding banking to the track would help, but also
would make the crashes even harder .. especially going into the corners.
Didnt Bedford add banking in the last yr or two ? |

i agree with tman if you want to race a shorter track there are plenty other tracks that race on friday, saturday, and sunday nights. i personally like little
valley because it is a flat 1/2 mile track and most of the action is in the turns which is where most passing is done on dirt anyways. i voted keep it the same
but maybe some banking down by 3 and 4 so no one goes through the guard rail. wiley 78k

I voted for shorten the track and add banking, but I would also like to add "make it twice as wide."
Of course, "make it twice as wide" goes for every track that there is. |

I hope that Little Valley Speedway focuses more on Mr. Peterman's post than most of the others. I was there opening night and there was a butt in most
every seat. Did anyone see the size of the fried dough?!?!?
My only complaints are that there was no elbow room in the grandstands on opening night, and I wish they wouldn't run against Stateline. |

you may be a little boggy off the corner but you will be pulling the whole straight, not maxed out halfway down the straights like the others.

LIke others have said here, leave the way it is. I would also say, unless you have a unlimited budget, gearing is a key. With adding banking and shorten the
track is it's going to be just has fast with more wreck cars.

They should cut out some of the back wall in the grandstands. The noise just bounces all over and you cant even hear yourself. I think if you open up a few
2'X2' holes the sound would lessen. Just an opinion.

Honestly, I like Little Valley the way it is. Some banking would be cool, but then, it wouldn't be Little Valley anymore.
