Believe me, I am just as disappointed as everyone else is about tonight, BUT, give the guys credit for trying to make the right call. There would be a heck of
a lot of complaining if people got over there and it got rained out. They went with what they thought was right, plus, saving everyone gas when the prices
are as high as they are. No matter what they do, there will always be complaining. These guys all work day jobs too, and had planned on racing tonight,
but......... When you figure what they would have had to pay, only to have it rain, they would have started off right in the hole. There is the track
insurance, all the employees, the food that would be prepared, etc. Let's just be happy that they are as considerate to the fans as they are, and that
they try their darndest to get the races in. MCR just has a black cloud over it. The races will be made up, the rain will go away, and then everyone can be
happy!!!! Stop complaining and thank them for trying to make the track the best in the area.

i do thank them, and appreciate them keeping open. now, they need to figure out what hex the early indians put on this place, and a pees the gods......lol.

I went fishing instead of racing tonight and watched the sunset.....it was a beautiful evening for racing.....go figure....next race at MCR...Mid-Season
championship.....if any cars or fans show up....get it together boys or there wont be MCR much longer

the boy's should advertise "the next time it sunshines we're gonna race". Which we all know will be a Monday.

I don't understand why they just didn't reschedule a regular show for this Saturday. After all, it's an OPEN date on the schedule, might as well
use it. Everyone is sitting around with cars ready to race. The weather forcast for Saturday is about as good as it has been. They are gonna be kicking
themselves if the sun is out Sat and the rainclouds move back in next Friday.

Plus the fact Stateline has a big E-mod race Saturday night and probably a lot of MCR E-mods will be there. Give the guys a break - they really do try!

How many cars/fans would bradford draw away from mcr on a saturday night?, the only 2 conflicting classes are streets and mini's and the street stocks run
under different rules. did bradford worry about mcr when they decided to change their rules for streets? didn't you say something about running sundays as
a make-up day, i think there is a track 20 miles away running on sunday, guess they don't have any feet to step on. oh well maybe we can all go to yum
yum's for ice cream tonight, the weatherman say's 63 and sunny!

We chose to take certain Saturday Nights off that did not do well for us over the past two years and this is one of them. There is a night NASCAR race and it
hurts our crowd. The bottom line is that we need to raise enough money to pay the purse and expenses or we cannot remain open. Furthermore, once we announced
our schedule, other tracks chose to schedule events on the nights we have off. Not only is Bradford running tonight, Woodhull has a $1000 to win Superstock
Race and several of our racers made plans to do alternate things on this off weekend. Did we err in judgment on Thursday when we cancelled at 10:30 when it
was dark & gloomy, the racetrack and fairgrounds was a wet mess and the forecast was for a 70% chance of rain....maybee, but remember our past results with
trying to get races in when this has occurred. We end up making more people pissed off when they tow 2 1/2 - 3 hours just to get wet again. We were in a no
win situation.
Nobody would be complaining if we would have had nice weather on the weeks we scheduled races. We didn't, but we cant control the weather. We will make these two nights up, but instead of racing with two days notice, we will pick another hopefully smarter date to race. We are obligated to our sponsors, the fans and to our racers to get these shows in. There is no one who wants to race any more then the 4 of us, but we also have the big picture to look at. We can't just worry about 1 race team or 1 class, we have to think about them all, plus make decisions that allow us to have the 3rd annual Fall Classic and a 2009 MCR. Rich Yeager MCR |

You're spot on Rich!!!The weather WILL come around to your liking.I remember when (in the ole' days) we'd start racing in May and it would be
either hot as hell or rain!! And ya know what? There wasn't a damm thing we could do about it !!!!TIMES change BUT Mother Nature doesn't!!!! May the
