What rules are they using Friday night for the race of champions open rules or RW7 regular rules?

Open shows have the word "open" in their title. This race (R.O.C.) does not.
Why would RW7 cater to a few guys that want to race in this race by using "open" rules but will not support RW7's weekly racing program ? In my opinion, if RW7 allows the "open" rules, it will only piss off their weekly racers - the ones that have spent the entire winter preparing their cars so that they would be legal to the rules that RW7 have created for this year.

The heats and feature will be run under Raceway 7 rules. |
